On to 2026: the Triennial Reassessment of the South and Western Suburbs

Assessments across Northern Cook County grew on average between 18 and 40%, thanks to the 2025 reassessment.

Now, the County looks to reassess the South and Western suburbs in 2026. Townships under reassessment include: Berwyn, Bloom, Bremen, Calumet, Cicero, Lemont, Lyons, Oak Park, Orland, Palos, Proviso, River Forest, Riverside, Stickney, Thornton, and Worth.

Now is the perfect time to register if you want to ensure your new tax assessment is fair and you owe no more than necessary on your upcoming bills.

Important Note: Potential clients who receive our marketing material but miss their Township's Assessor deadline, worry not! The Assessor is the first appeal deadline, not the only. You can still register for the Board of Review. If you miss the Board of Review deadline, our system will automatically set up an appeal for the next available window.
